A small Village of Molise
at the foot of the Matese mountain
We are Mariangelo and Andrea Martelli. We live in Molise, in Roccamandolfi: a small mountain village surrounded by nature at the foot of the Matese… and this is where our business “La Rocca Tartufi e Conserve”, “La Rocca Truffles and Preserves”, has its headquarters.
It’s a young and dynamic company result of a big passion born when, thanks to our love for nature handed us down by our parents, we approached the world of truffle hunt and canophilia, with regard for the par excellence truffle-hunting breed “Lagotto Romagnolo”, taking part in cynophile truffle-hunting competitions and achieving major results.
And it’s the hunting and extraction of truffle (recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage), which we habitually carry out with our dogs, that are the basis of the quality of our truffles we are able to offer to our clients, since the first selection takes place directly in the woods when extracted.

In 2019, from the need to have also other long and medium lasting high-quality processed products other than fresh ones, our laboratory was born, where we committed directly to the production of truffle preserved in oil or in brine, truffle based creams, sauces and condiments.

Our mission is to be a reference point for all the activities and private citizens who consume truffles, and who, like us, have at heart the excellence of this precious product. We desire to show its potential, as well as that of our territory, also beyond the national borders.
